Presumably, if you married him you must love him. If you love him, there must be some qualities he has which are awesome! Perhaps he is the kindest, most loving, helpful, generous, honest, reliable, person you ever met. These (or some others which are hidden in your heart) are the qualities which make him beautiful in your eyes.
So, when you introduce him to your friends, make sure to drop examples of his generosity, kindness and love into the conversation. They cannot fail to be impressed.
Who said he was Ugly (notice the capital U!)? Perhaps you have been drugged by social media/TV ads/commercials in general/ where everybody is perfect and appearance and physical beauty are the only standards.
When was the last time you saw an ad which talked about kindness, charity, honesty and generosity? I bet you can hardly think of even ONE.
